re: How good are mini tour players? - CajunMAP
the top mini-tour golfers are just an eyelash from being on the PGA Tour. I have hosted a number of minitour events through the years and the players I have seen were amazing. Joe Durant, Charlie Rhymer, Craig Perks, Russell Knox, Jerry Kelly just to name a few. When you watch them at the mini...

re: Beau Pre or Duncan Park? - CajunMAP
DP is a city golf course that was built in a recreation area for the local golfers to have an affordable place to play. The "new nine" was added years ago when golf play was tremendous and allows travelers to see the back of the golf course from the Hwy.61/84 By Pass - right next to the Glenburnie ...

re: Shenandoah #4 anyone else remember that hole? - CajunMAP
I started playing there when it first opened with Dale, Dick and Joyce Janes. It took a few years but the subdivision filled up with homes - seems most of the kids went to Woodlawn? The course was modern and well kept for years back in the day - real good money games - Burt Burdick, Jack Slocum...

re: Shenandoah #4 anyone else remember that hole? - CajunMAP
I remember #4, but don't recall it standing out as a great short hole - I thought #10 was pretty interesting. Shenny was a fantastic course, hated to see it close...#12 was one hell of a par 5....

re: Munis in Vicksburg, MS - CajunMAP
Clear Creek is a fun layout for a public course - most of the holes are fairly flat with pushed up greens, but some have some elevation changes and doglegs! Ask for Randy Tupper if you are there. Vicksburg CC is one of the classic courses in the south - I promise you will never play another cou...

re: Randy Watkins Golf - CajunMAP
Have recently played all 3 and Deerfield. All in very good shape and a lot of fun. WL is an executive course with some challenging greens - folks say it is easy but difficult to break par. Lake Caroline is loads of fun - a course that you can play back as a challenge or up to make some birdie...
