No, it's an auto bed leveler. So, if your bed is slanted slightly it adjust for that. It's not a divot filler.

It's going to set an average between the number of coordinates it measures. The more the better, within reason, there is a finite amount of memory available...

For example...say you measure 16 points, 4 rows of 4....starting from a corner (typical for 200x200 build plates) it will compensate for any variation between point 1 and point 2, as well from point 1 and 5 (5 being the first point in the 2nd row)

So the compensation is done in the Z axis?

I understand. I knew the compensation had to come either from the hot end or the bed but i was thinking it came from the hot end. Thanks!
