Kinetic Fiber from windstream
Anyone use them as their ISP

a gig down fiber with no cap and month to month contract for $75 is too good to not try.

Anyone else here used their fiber infrastructure?

We used them at an office of ours. They sucked as a business ISP. That's all I got.

how long ago was that?

im moving into a very new development for the fiber being laid down should have no physical problems

im just worried about once it gets to them how effective they reroute traffic.

if they suck ill cancel after a month and get spectrum

I concur. My dealings with them was an absolute nightmare.

Last I heard Windstream was selling off assets.

I have windstream DSL where I live (out in the country), and it's been fine actually. No outages for a long time.

They are going thru some kind of bankruptcy though, doubt it matters.

They're our backup ISP for multiple locations, no problems from my understanding. We've had them for about 3 years I think.

re: Kinetic Fiber from windstream
These dudes already off to a bad start

Didn’t see a technician all day and get the fiber set up

My service was supposed to be good turned on by 7pm

Instead I get an email saying there is a delay bc the equipment might not be installed and will require additional construction

Call up there she says the engineer is looking at it and will call me back when ever. She thinks the fiber might not be actually laid to my house yet

Why in the frick wait until the day on installation to verify that

If don’t hear back by tomorrow I’m just going with Spectrum.
