re: Wedges - Yardage Gap
Yeah, that’s ridiculous for a PW.

Mine is 46, then I have a 52, 56, and 60. That 52 Vokey is a lifesaver as I tend to have a really high trajectory on my SW(56) resulting in a big gap between PA and SW

re: Wedges - Yardage Gap
I just put the 48 back in the bag so I’m rolling with the following:

PW
48
52
56
60

I now have the same amount of wedges as i do other irons.

Bringing a customer to play today so we’ll see how it goes.

re: Wedges - Yardage Gap
120-130 distance is a bitch for me too. And always find myself in that position.

I have a 52 (110-120),56 (100-110) and 60 (90-100). PW is 135-145

Planning to drop down to a 48 or 50 and see how things go and if I'm able to manage 50-75% swings for the new gap I'll have.

re: Wedges - Yardage Gap
Over the years, I've had a couple gaps through the bottom of my bag depending on the wedge setup I have. I typically go up 2 clubs and then take the same swing I take when I try to hit my 60* wedge 65 yards.

Have you ever been fitted for wedges?

I can’t seam to get the right gaps either. I had a MD 50 but just never liked it. And have tried a few different 50 degree wedges but they either are in the top end of my gap or low. I’ve got a gap from 90-115.

Take one that you like the look of, and bend it to fit. If you have a 50 that covers the top end of the gap, bend it 51*.

re: Wedges - Yardage Gap
200 yrds is my nemesis...

My 4I goes 190
My hybrid gies 215

I have nothing for 200. I will either just hit the 4 or choke up and let off a little on the hybrid.

But I hate trying to hit that range.. 195-210.

re: Wedges - Yardage Gap
I'd rather have a 25 yard gap at the top than a gap at the bottom. Between 195-220 I'm just trying to hit greens. Take whichever club gets you closer to the center and go. But having a big gap at the bottom is brutal.

There is no way you are hitting a 43 degree wedge 150 and a 60 degree 100 yards.

How much do you want to bet? Not trying to be a dick, but I have several friends I play with who post on this board that can attest to these yardages...

re: Wedges - Yardage Gap
Yeah, I don’t see a problem with those numbers with the 43 being 150. That’s like a 9 iron.

I don’t ever swing my 60 hard and it’s my 100 number. My PW is 46° and goes 145 on a full swing.

I have a big gap between PW and 9i. I hit my PW ~120 and my 9i ~140 (both PXG 0211)
