Launch monitor recommendations
I’m looking for a monitor that can display info to a computer or tv. Any recommendations that don’t break the bank?

re: Launch monitor recommendations
Indoor, outdoor, or or combo? If indoor how big is your room?

The above recommendation of the mevo+ is good but if you’re using it indoors you need a big room. The mevo+ has to sit 8’ behind you and also needs 8’ feet of ball flight, so essentially 17’ worth of space in a room. Not to mention the width as well as high ceilings.

Of course it’s for purely outside then none of that matters.

Mevo+ or Skytrak, both around $2,000. Anything cheaper will most likely just give you swing speed and carry distance.

If you’re a baller, the GC Quad would be the way to go.

ETA Skytrak will not work outdoors

Definitely indoor. Basically wanting for winter months and rainy days. Not a huge room like mentioned above. I’ve been looking around, but seems it will be tough to find one for less than $2,000.

SkyTrak from everything I’ve read.
MyGolfSpy always does reviews on these as well.

Mygolfapy just voted the Rapsodo their best personal mobile launch monitor.

Yeah, but it doesn’t measure spin. Hard to know where your ball is going if you’re hitting into a net without spin data.

I have the Rapsodo and it does give you direction into a net just won’t give you the exact flight. i.e. won’t pick up draw or fades. However it wont work with any type of sim.

We have the TrackMan in our basement - which I hardly get to use since my daughters seems to take up prime time there - just added the e6 connect suite - it’s on sale for 50% off now.... Hopefully TrackMan will add peer to peer playing soon but it’s not there yet also getting the Boditrak balance mat today... looked at swingcatalyst but it’s way way more expensive and Boditrak does practically the same thing...

I started out with a sky track. Had it for a few years then made the jump to the GC Quad. While the quad does give more feedback, the biggest difference is the delay. Sky track has a 2-3 second delay while quad has practically none.

Did you get head measurement with your quad?

If so, that’s a huge difference between the two
