Cowboys and OC Kellen Moore mutually agree to part ways; Chargers hire him as their OC.

Tom Pelissero @Tom Pelissero

The #Cowboys and offensive coordinator Kellen Moore have mutually agreed to part ways, per sources. Moore is a bright young offensive mind and will have options. But Dallas felt change was needed after a disappointing finish, and now is looking for a new OC.

The #Bucs are expected to have significant interest in Kellen Moore as an OC.

Kliff to Dallas? He's a TX guy and wants to stay in the NFL.

David Moore of the Dallas Morning News broke the story. Nothing against Pelissero, but so many “journalists” such as Ian Rapoport and Florio have made their name by breaking news but being wrong half the time.

Per David Moore, McCarthy plans to assume play calling duties. I think that rules out someone like Kliff for now.

The problem is Dak, not the OC

McCarthy is an excellent play caller. If next season is his make or break; I would call the plays if I was him.

The problem is both of them and you are stuck with Dak so it’s the right move

I don't know why anyone would want to go to Tampa

Easy out for Jerry next year with McCarthy calling the plays.

Most people around Dallas don’t think he’s serious about calling playa and this is just buying time to get an OC

Hired by the Chargers. That didn't take long.
