You’re exactly right Buckeye and as Burrow did last year Brennan is doing this year. He has been throwing with the 1st team receivers for weeks now to build trust and timing with Chase, Marshall, Racey, Palmer and Gilbert.

2 years from now Garrett Nussmeier is going to win the starting job.

Back in the day I used to tear it up in that field tailgating. Is that big arse oak tree still out in middle

Max is twice the size of Myles it seems. That dude is massive.

Biggest takeaway is Finleys busting his ass, Johnson's busting his ass, Nuss will be here next year doing the same, I'm sure Brennan is too....Physically they look great but it takes a couple years mentally to be ready for SEC play. It's amazing how quickly Burrow, O, and Brady broke this curse and changed us from 2 Fr competing to start to having Brennan, Finley, Johnson, and Nuss in the QB room next season

Truly amazing. Changing the culture at that position may prove to be the biggest accomplishment from last year.

Seems this nut doesn't fall too far from the tree. Makes me feel a little giddy about the future of LSU Football... [love the camera angles]

Max Johnson is such a great name

These offseason players' workouts are where timing and trust between QBs and WRs happens. Never enough time in scheduled practice to scratch the surface of fully synching up.

timing and placement is needed for routes

Max looks really solid. Koy's route running will improve but he's clearly a smooth athlete. Great to see them connecting this early in their careers.

Doesn't look like a true freshman.

I talked to a former player and he said that Max Johnson is the real deal and will be the next great LSU QB...

Freshman putting in work (without the coaches.) Precisely the culture that will keep LSU a national title contender EVERY season under Coach O.
