Report: Former LSU QB Brandon Harris Could Be Joining The LA Rams Coaching Staff
37Former LSU quarterback Brandon Harris is a top candidate to join the L.A. Rams coaching staff as an assistant quarterback coach, according to Anwar Richardson.
Harris was recently hired by Steve Sarkisian to be the Director of Recruiting at Texas. He was previously an offensive analyst and assistant running backs coach under Tom Herman.
Harris played at LSU from 2014-2016 and ended his playing career as a graduate transfer for North Carolina in 2017.

Is he teaching how not to throw directly to your opponents. That game ending pass at Lambeau was brutal. Great experience I will never forget, but wish he could have won that game.

103Uh, bull shite. Brandon Harris was a terrible QB and was not an SEC talent. Go back and watch the Arkansas game where he had a receiver 5 yards behind the Defense and hit a DB in the back of his helmet. It was pathetic. Then when Harris transferred to UNC he was benched after being GIVEN the job by Larry Fedora. After 3 games Harris was replaced by a true Freshman. At LSU Harris was given far too much opportunity and failed on his own.

I remember when he was being recruited, the word was that anyone who spoke with him including recruiting gurus and coaches were amazed at why his grades were poor. Apparently his bullshiteting skills are definitely next level. That’s not a knock on the guy, just an observation at his apparent gift of gab. You can open a lot of doors in the real world that way. Hopefully he’s ready to work hard and accept the challenges like a pro.

The guy has a great personality and always appeared to have an outstanding attitude until right at the end of his time at LSU when things got a little ugly. I don’t really blame him for that though. I know he was very frustrated.

21He was not an SEC WB and was given way too many starts and should have been pulled a year before he finally was pulled.

He was a very adroit student of the game. That was obvious back to his recruitment. He just couldn't consistently translate his football knowledge to on-the-field play. No surprise he has a lot of coaching potential.

I thought he'd coach football if he wasn't cut out for the NFL back when he was in high school. If you ever really listened to him he comes off as a very intelligent person.

He is a really nice person. Met him a few times and he was very polite. Hope he gets the job

Good for Brandon. It’s cool that even though it didn’t work out for him as a player he’s doing his thing and has a future in football. Wish him nothing but the best of luck
