LSU QB Commit Walker Howard Receives 5-Star Rating
53Talented LSU quarterback commit Walker Howard is now rated as a five-star prospect for the class of 2022.
Howard is rated as the No. 2 overall pro-style quarterback in the country according to Rivals and 247Sports.
The 6-1, 195-pound pro-style passer from Lafayette, La (St. Thomas More), committed to the Tigers in June of 2020, picking LSU over Alabama, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and many others.
Howard is the son of former LSU quarterback Jamie Howard who played for the Tigers from 1992-1995.

is this the first 5 star commit lsu has had at the qb position? ryan perriloux was 5 star talent [that miles quickly put a wrench in], but i dont know if he had a 5 star rating coming out of high school

10Walker has more feel for the pressure and pocket with his eyes closed compared to brennan

Kids got “it”. Great touch, big arm, throwing people open, to the correct shoulder on slants and gos, directing receivers with the ball delivery, escapability, decent wheels, improv when things break down, going through progressions... pretty impressive.
